New Prescott Art Docents are Provided:

Bimonthly training for 7 months in art history, art appreciation, and the vocabulary of art (including color, perspective, line/shape, repetition, contrast and texture,) plus a focus on current teaching techniques and curriculum standards. 

Bimonthly programs open to all docents and the public throughout the school year that feature artists, educators, and other art experts.

A mentor, as well as opportunities to observe experienced docents in a classroom. 

No art experience is necessary.
