For more than five decades, Prescott Art Docents have recruited generous volunteers who have collaborated with government entities and private institutions in our mission to enhance education and the quality of life of our clients through a shared love of art. Our Mission
Our Mission is to share the love of art with children and adults thoughout our community and to promote the art museum experience.
The words “share” and “love of art” describe the essence of this dynamic non-profit organization that began in 1971. Our enthusiasm and high standards have earned the respect of the many schools and adult groups that we serve thoughout our expanding community.

Our Core Values
The Prescott Art Docents believe in transparency, openness and responsiveness to the teachers who invite us into their classrooms and to the community groups who request our presentations which share our knowledge and love of art, based on professional words and actions.
The Prescott Art Docents have a wealth of resources to use when presenting art to the community. We recognize and accept the responsibility of the of the care of those resources.
As adult volunteers we embrace and celebrate the diversity of our members and our community. We will treat each other with the courtesy and respect we expect from others as we take our mission into the community.
